First-Ever WWE Speed Champion Crowned [Spoiler]

The inaugural champion has been crowned for WWE Speed.

The new concert airing exclusively on Twitter saw stars battle it out in matches that were contested in a 3-minute time limit. Additionally, it was announced that the stars would also be a part of a tournament that would crown the first-ever Speed champion.

Following the April 26th episode of SmackDown going off the air, the finals of the tournament took place. Those in attendance were able to provide spoilers to the matches that took place. The spoilers have been obtained via Fightful.

The final match saw Richochet defeat Johnny Gargano to become the first-ever champion. Ricochet was also presented with the new title at the taping. Ricochet defeated Dragon Lee in the opening round and JD McDonagh to advance to the finals. Gargano defeated Angel and Bronson Reed.

Ricochet Adds WWE Speed Championship To Accolades

The victory for the high-flyer is the latest championship that Ricochet has won while in WWE. Previous championships won by Ricochet include the Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship and NXT North American Championship.
