CJ Perry has made her first wrestling appearance since WWE.
Perry would debut in front of an AEW audience at the All Out pay-per-view, coming to the aid of husband Miro after his match with Powerhouse Hobbs.
The match was a dream for WWE Superstar Big E, as there was lots of big meaty men slapping meat, a fact that the Chicago crowd acknowledged throughout.
Miro picked up the victory after locking in the Game Over. A handshake took place after the match, but Hobbs blindsided his opponent with an attack. Music played and CJ Perry made her way down the ramp, much to the shock of the Chicago crowd. Perry hit Hobbs with a chair, but Hobbs was not phased by it.
The distraction was enough for Miro to grab the chair and stand tall. However, Miro did not seem happy to see his wife, exiting the ring afterwards and going to the back alone. As he went up the ramp, The Redeemer was heard shouting “You’re not real!”
Perry, known as Lana in WWE, was released from her contract in June 2021. The former WWE Superstar was one of many casualties of the budget cuts releases during the pandemic.
The results from All Out can be found here.
