Bryan Danielson Opens Up About Possible Return To The Ring

Bryan Danielson was always going to lose the World Championship at AEW WreslteDream, just not to Jon Moxley...

Former AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson has spoken out on the chances of getting back in the ring.

After losing the title to Jon Moxley at WrestleDream 2024, Danielson also brought to an end his full-time pro wrestling career. However, 6 months on from his last match, The American Dragon has shown no indication that he will be returning to action anytime soon and has not appeared on TV since. Having previously addressed neck issues among other health problems, a Danielson in-ring return is looking less likely by the day.

Still a part of AEW, Danielson recently spoke to the media in the UK, where AEW will return over August bank holiday weekend for the Forbidden Door show at the O2. Speaking with JNMEDIAUK about the possibility, Danielson admitted that while it is not impossible, he also does not want his quality of life to suffer:

So it’s not no chance, but it’s risk versus reward at this point, right? I want to be able to live comfortably with my wife and kids.

One of the things our society has a real problem with is realizing when enough is enough, and I’m very satisfied with my career, and I think enough is enough, you know?

Bryan Danielson Won Big In Final UK Match

In what was one of his final matches and his final appearance in the UK, Danielson headlined All In 2024 as he challenged Swerve Strickland for the World Championship. In what was an emotional victory, Danielson defeated Strickland with his family in the front row.
