Big Cass Debuts for IMPACT Wrestling

Former WWE star Big Cass has made his return to on screen television. The return came on Sunday April 25th, where Cass made his debut for IMPACT Wrestling at their Rebellion pay per view.

Now going by his real name William Morrissey, the seven footer teamed with Violent by Design [Rhino, Cody Deaner and Joe Doering]. In the eight man tag team match, the team were victorious in the match against Chris Sabin, Eddie Edwards, James Storm and Willie Mack.

Morrissey was a replacement for Eric Young, who was unable to compete due to a torn ACL. William Morrissey was released from WWE in 2018. Since then, the former Big Cass has made some sporadic appearances at various independent wrestling events. After a hiatus following addiction issues, Morrisey returned to an independent show in great shape and put on a well received performance. Chris Van Vliet recently went in depth to talk to Morrissey about his recent struggles and how he battled his demons.
