After multiple rumours that Andrade had asked for his release backstage, the former United States Champion seemingly confirmed the reports on Twitter:

“WWE has come to terms on the release of Andrade. We wish him all the best in all of his future endeavors.”
In his time with WWE, Andrade was a one time NXT Champion and one time United States Champion. His match with Johnny Gargano at NXT Takeover: Philadelphia, received high praise from fans and critics.
