Alexa Bliss WWE Return Plans Scrapped

All Alexa Bliss WWE return plans have been scrapped for the foreseeable future as the former Women's Champion approaches 2 years away from the ring.

All WWE return plans for Alexa Bliss are now said to be “off the table.”

Closing in on 2 years away from WWE, the former Women’s Champion has been away from the rign as she welcomed her first child into the world in November 2023. With WrestleMania season approaching, WWE now on Netflix and Bliss a popular star among the fans, many were expecting to see the WWE star make her return in the new year. However, according to a further update, these plans have since been nixed.

As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, any return plans for Bliss are said to have been put on hold indefinitely. Futhermore, the report stated that Bliss was originally set to make her long-awaited return on the second episode of Raw on Netflix on January 13th, which was also stated in a previous report concerning Alexa Bliss. The WWE star was also set to be involved in a storyline with The Wyatt Sicks given her previous affiliaiton with the late Bray Wyatt, but according to the report any future creative plans involving the faction are said to be “independent of anything related to Bliss.”

Why Have Alexa Bliss Plans Been Scrapped?

The update has come as a surprise to fans as Bliss has teased a WWE return on social media and appears to be ready to make her comeback. It is stated that creative plans are not the issue. While one source told Johnson that it could be related to her contract, other company sources were not entirely sure of the reason.

For anyone expecting a surprise return at the Royal Rumble, this is not scheduled to be happening.
