The final show before All Out, AEW September to Remember saw multiple implications for the pay-per-view and more take place on the show.
With multiple spots open in the tag team ladder match, multiple qualifying bouts took place on the show in the hope of dethroning Brodido at the pay-per-view on September 20. Additionally, Women’s Champion Toni Storm presented her latest feature ahead of defending her title at All Out and Jon Moxley faced Roderick Strong one week on from Daniel Garcia turning heel to side with Mox and The Deathriders.
World Champion Adam Page also met with TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher to sign the contract and made their All Out match official.
AEW September To Remember Results:
- The contract signing between Adam Page and Kyle Fletcher opened the show. Don Callis said that he found someone better than Kenny Omega in Kyle Fletcher. Page added the stipulation that should The Don Callis Family interfere then he would be stripped of the TNT Title. Fletcher stated that it made no difference and that he ould walk out the double champion when all was said and done at All Out. No physicality ensued.
- Jon Moxley defeated Roderick Strong.
- MJF was seen going into Tony Khan’s office upset that he lost his advantage with the World Title contract opportunity, which now requires notice. MJF demanded to be removed from the All Out tacks and tables match, but Khan stated the match is still on.
- Bobby Lashley defeated Toa Liona. After the match, Bishop Khan and Ricochet tried to attack The Hurt Syndicate, but the group stood tall.
- Christian Cage and Cope met FTR for their face-to-face, with Stokely Hathaway saying that if they touch FTR then it’s $100,000 fines, but touch Stokely it’s $500,000 fine and the match is off. FTR spoke about their history with the veterans, which Cope snapped when his wife was brought up. Cage stated he did not care about the fine and a brawl ensued, with Cope and Cage also taking out security.
- The Young Bucks defeated the Bang Bang Gang to qualify for the All Out ladder match.
- Mascara Dorada defeated The Beat Mortos to qualify for the All Out Unified Title match. Post-match, Kazuchika Okada made his way to the ring, shortly followed by Konosuke Takeshita, who confronted the champion.
- Toni Storm spoke about her time as champion, which was filled with innuendos. Storm was interrupted by Jamie Hayter and Kris Statlander, before Thekla stormed to the ring for her upcoming match.
- Thekla defeated Queen Aminata in a no holds barred match. Storm and Statlander returned for the post-match brawl, which was ultimately broken up by security.
- JetSpeed defeated Kip Sabian and Killswitch to qualify for the All Out ladder match.
- Bryan Danielson interviewed Darby Allin, who spoke about Jon Moxley and his Mount Everest climb. Allin made Danielson promise he would not get involved in his match with Jon Moxley at All Out, which Danielson agreed to under one condition, which was not heard on the broadcast.
- Riho defeated Robyn Renegade
- Josh Alexander and Hechicero defeated Top Flight to qualify for the All Out ladder match. Another post-match brawl took place with all the tag teams, The Don Callis Family and Adam Page getting involved. Kyle Fletcher his a brainbuster onto Page through a table to close the show, holding both titles in the air.
