Either Roderick Strong or Samoa Joe will challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship at Grand Slam.
The semi-finals of the tournament took place on the September 9th episode of Collision. Strong faced Darby Allin in the first match, defeating the former TNT Champion after he was distracted by interference on the outside.
Later in the night, Samoa Joe defeated Penta Zero Miedo to punch his ticket to the final against Strong. Following Penta crashing through a table, Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch to pick up the victory.
The finals will take place on September 13th with the title match taking place the following week.
