Line-Up Announced For AEW Dynamite

The final AEW Dynamite before Double or Nothing that also featured a major contract signing and more!

At Double or Nothing, Will Ospreay will take on Adam Page in the final of the Owen Hart Men’s Tournament and Mercedes Mone will face Jamie Hayter in the final of the Women’s Tournament. The finalists met in the ring on Dynamite to address their showdowns at the pay-per-view, which will see the winners advance to All In and fight for the World Title.

Additionally, MJF signed the contract to make his joining of The Hurt Syndicate official.

Excalibur, Ian Riccaboni, Taz and Tony Schiavone were the announce team for the show.

The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:

  • Will Ospreay and Adam Page met in the ring to kick off the show. Ospreay told security they would not be required and offered Page a beer. Ospreay spoke about needing to win the championship so that he could walk into Forbidden Door as the World Champion. Page retorted that he didn’t want the title match, he needed it. Page also spoke about the past 2 years of grief and how he needed the title to prove himself to his family.
  • Swerve Strickland, Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs defeated The Young Bucks and Jon Moxley. The Death Riders attacked after the match, leading to Willow Nightingale, Kenny Omega and Katsuyori Shibata also joining in the brawl.
  • MJF signed the contract to officially join The Hurt Syndicate. Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara interrupted and vowed to win the Tag Team Championships at Double or Nothing.
  • Ricochet defeated Anthony Bowens. Mark Briscoe came out after the match with a stretcher, but Ricochet escaped.
  • Mercedes Mone and Jamie Hayter had their face-to-face. Mone and Hayter came to blows with Hayter standing tall.
  • Mina Shirakawa defeated Julia Hart. Sky Blue attacked after the match but Toni Storm made the save. Storm and Shirakawa argued over the Women’s Championship and Shirakawa locked Storm in the figure 4.
  • A mass brawl ended to show to continue the hype to Anarchy in the Arena.
