The fallout from Grand Slam and more took place on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite.
With the first-ever Australian show now in the books, Dynamite continued the road to Revolution with the start of the International Championship series. Additionally, MJF and Adam Page met face to face and Big Bill faced Powerhouse Hobbs in a street fight.
Excalibur, Taz and Ian Ricabonni were the commentary team for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- MJF and Adam Page opened the show with their face to face. MJF called back to the first-ever match in AEW history and how he had the match won, but Page hit him with a cheap shot to win the match. MJF stated that he clawed his way back to the top and how he has beaten some of the biggest names in the company. MJF continued to list off his accomplishments over the past 6 years. Page responded that he was well aware of MJF is and his accomplishments, but questioned if he was unhappy that the fans still don’t like him. MJF recalled some of Page’s more gruesome moments before Page cut off MJF when Christopher Daniels was brought up. Page decalred that he was the hero in the story, leading to MJF spitting in his face. Both men were separated by security.
- Samoa Joe, Hook at Katsuyori Shibata defeated Christian Cage, Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian.
- Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Big Bill in a street fight.
- Chris Jericho agreed to put his ROH World Championship against Bandido on the next episode of Collision.
- New Women’s Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm appeared live to celebrate her title victory. Storm issued an open challenge to everyone from Kris Statlander to Wendi Richter.
- The Death Riders stormed to the ring, where Jon Moxley claimed that he had ended Cope. Jay White and Cope interrupted and attacked The Death Riders to stand tall.
- Megan Bayne defeated Kris Statlander after Statlander was tripped by Penelope Ford. Thunder Rosa came out after the match to stop a further beatdown on Statlander.
- Ricochet addressed his victory over Swerve Strickland and was met with heavy boos. Prince Nana interrupted and demanded he get his robe back, which Ricochet refused.
- Orange Cassidy defeated Roderick Strong in the International Championship series. Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita interrupted the post match interview and tried to beat down Cassidy before Kenny Omega made the save.
