AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam Dynamite Ratings

The ratings are in for the Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite. The show saw an average of 1.273 million people watch Dynamite broadcast from Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York. The numbers have been obtained from Brandon Thurston at Wrestlenomics:

AEW Grand Slam has seen an increase from the previous week. The September 15th edition of AEW’s flagship show saw a rating of 1.175 million people. The increase in viewership calculates to approximately 8%. This rating is the third highest in the history of AEW Dynamite, with only the debut episode and the Dynamite following All Out being higher in viewership.

In regards to key demographics, AEW Dynamite Grand Slam obtained a 0.48 rating, equating to 627,000 viewers. This is significantly up from last week’s demographic rating of 574,000. Show Buzz Daily reports that Dynamite was number one in demographic rankings for cable broadcast by a substantial margin. The second ranked show, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, obtained a 0.39 rating by comparison.

The show featured a loaded card, most notably a dream match between Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson. This match opened the show.
