A WrestleMania rematch will be taking place at the Night of Champions PLE.
Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair will once again defend the title against Asuka at the Saudi Arabia show, with the EST hoping to repeat the success of WrestleMania.
Belair hosted a championship celebration on the May 12th episode of SmackDown, which was the first night the champion was officially drafted to the blue brand. Before the celebrations could begin, Asuka made her way to the ring.
Seemingly acknowledging the loss at WrestleMania, Asuka applauded Belair, before extending a hand in congratulations. As Belair went to reciprocate the handshake, The Empress of Tomorrow misted the champion, blinding Belair in the process.
The match was announced officially on WWE social media platforms on Thursday May 18h.
The updated line-up for Night of Champions is as follows:
- Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles – Singles match where the winner will be crowned the new World Heavyweight Champion
- Brock Lesnar vs. Cody Rhodes
- Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens (c) vs. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa – Tag team match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.
- Gunther (c) vs. Mustafa Ali – Singles match for the Intercontinental Championship.
- Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka – Singles match for the Raw Women’s Championship
