In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has given his star ratings for the matches that took place at the WWE Backlash Premium Live Event.

The show took place in Puerto Rico, being the first major event hosted by WWE on the island since 2005.

The match ratings are as follows:

• Seth Rollins defeated Omos – ***
• Austin Theory defeated Bobby Lashley and Bronson Reed to retain the United States Championship – **1/2
• Rhea Ripley defeated Zelina Vega to retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship – **
• Bad Bunny defeated Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight – ****1/2
• Solo Sikoa, Jimmy and Jey Uso defeated Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle – ***3/4
• Cody Rhodes defeated Brock Lesnar – ***3/4
