The total viewership for the May 5ht edition of SmackDown has been published. On average, 2.059 million people watched the go-home show for WWE Backlash. The viewing figures have been obtained via Wrestlenomics:

Compared to the previous week, SmackDown has seen a drop in viewership. As the April 28th episode drew an average audience of 2.473 million, the drop calculates to approximately 16.7%. SmackDown obtained an 18-49 rating of 0.52, also down from the 0.67 rating from the previous week.

SmackDown presented the final build to Backlash and was broadcast live in Puerto Rico.
