Wardlow is now one of two AEW wrestlers to hold the TNT Championship for a third time.

Wardlow would defeat Powerhouse Hobbs on the April 19th edition of AEW Dynamite, ending Hobbs’ reign with the title at 42 days.

In a backstage segment earlier in the show, Wardlow was interviewed by Renee Paquette. Mr. Mayhem stated how unhappy he was that QT Marshall was integral in Hobbs’ capturing the championship from him. To even to odds, Wardlow brought Arn Anderson to ringside.

Marshall would once again try to interfere while the referee was distracted, but Anderson would help to eject Marshall from the ring. The closing moments of the match would see Wardlow hit multiple powerbombs to win the match and the championship.

Wardlow now joins Sammy Guevara as the only 3 time TNT Champions in AEW.
