Bobby Lashley is the winner of 2023 WrestleMania tradition of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale.
The match took place on the final SmackDown before WrestleMania on Friday, March 31st. With the rest of the field coming out at once, Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman would receive their own entrances.
Baron Corbin was eliminated first, being sent over the top rope shortly before the match began. Following a string of eliminations, the final 4 would come down LA Knight, Braun Strowman, Bronson Reed and Bobby Lashley.
Following an unpopular elimination of LA Knight by Reed, Strowman was next out. Reed attempted a Tsunami on Lashley, but The All Mighty countered with a Spear. Reed was then eliminated, giving the victory to Bobby Lashley.
With the former WWE Champion seemingly off WrestleMania due to the unknown health status of Bray Wyatt, Lashley still wants to be a part of the biggest show of the year.
Taking to social media, Lashley has stated that his calendar is open for April 1st and 2nd.
Previous winners of the Battle Royale have included inaugural winner Cesaro, The Big Show, Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley, Matt Hardy, Braun Strowman, Jey Uso and Madcap Moss.
