A number one contenders match and a confrontation have been announced to take place on the St. Patrick’s Day edition of SmackDown.

The March 10th episode would see both Drew McIntyre and Sheamus win the number one contenders Intercontinental Title match simultaneously. WWE Official Adam Pearce has declared that McIntyre and Sheamus will face off on the show, with the winner going on to challenge Gunther on the grandest stage.

Also on the show, following Jey Uso’s turn on Sami Zayn, the former Honorary Uce will be confronting his former friend. Jey finally showed his allegiance to The Bloodline, and Zayn wants retribution for the attack.

• Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre – The winner will go on to challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania.
