The reason behind Bray Wyatt’s WWE absence has been reportedly revealed.

Wyatt did not appear at WWE’s house show at Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday, March 12th. This is along with Wyatt not making an appearance on WWE programming in recent weeks to promote the upcoming match between himself and Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania, which is yet to be confirmed by WWE.

Initial reports claimed that Wyatt had bee no-showing events due to creative disputes, but new information seems to refute this claim.

In a report by Fightful Select, Bray Wyatt is currently dealing with a “physical issue.” The update to report states that the issue is an illness, and those within WWE do not know when the former WWE Champion will be making a return to action.

WWE have been anticipating a return to the company from Wyatt, with the report going on to say that Wyatt and Uncle Howdy props have been sent weekly to SmackDown, but have not been used.

Since the return to WWE, Bray Wyatt has only had one televised match, which was the divisive Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match against LA Knight, which was won by Wyatt. The Eater of Worlds has been active at WWE Live Events, frequently wrestling Knight in a Street Fight stipualtion on the non-televised shows.
