House Of Black Capture Trios Championships At AEW Revolution

New champions were crowned at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view on Sunday, March 5th.

In what was the first championship match of the evening, The House of Black would defeat The Elite to become AEW Trios Champions for the first time in their career.

The match itself was the signature AEW trios style, with lots of high flying maneuverers and feats of athleticism. It should be noted that the power of House of Black’s Brody King did add a power and size dynamic that has not been seen in trios matches so far.

The closing moments of the match would see Kenny Omega accidentally strike Julia Hart, with Malakai Black following up with the Black Mass on Omega. Nick Jackson would break up the pin attempt. With Brody King taking out The Young Bucks, Omega was left alone in the ring,

With The House of Black surrounding the former AEW World Champion, The Bucks would bet back in the ring and hit multiple superkicks. The House of Black would cut off Matt Jackson, hitting Dante’s inferno to win the match and the championships.

The victory marks the first championships held by all 3 men while in AEW. The Elite’s title reign has come to an end at 53 days. The team of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks captured the gold for a second time after defeating Death Triangle in a best of 7 series.
