Powerhouse Hobbs is the next challenger for the TNT Championship.

Hobbs was victorious in the Face of the Revolution ladder match on the March 1st episode of AEW Dynamite. Hobbs will challenge the winner of the TNT Title match at Revolution on the March 8th episode of Dynamite. The other competitors in the match were Konosuke Takeshita, Action Andretti, Ortiz, AR Fox, Eddie Kingston, and Komander.

At Revolution, current champion Samoa Joe will defend the title against Wardlow, a rematch from a few weeks ago, where Samoa Joe cut the ponytail off of Wardlow following the victory.

The match was AEW’s signature blend of high spots and death defying manoeuvres, with Komander hav9ng the highlight of the match, running the tightrope across the top rope to dive to the outside.

The match would see the Jericho Appreciation Society provide interference, hoping to give the victory to Sammy Guevara, but all members were taken out by Takeshita.

The match would end with Hobbs taking out Takeshita, bending the ladder in the process. Hobbs would climb the ladder as the referees held it in place to grab the brass ring and become victorious.
