Becky Lynch and Lita are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, thanks to the help of Trish Stratus.

The team of The Man and the WWE Hall of Famer defeated IYO SKY and Dakota Kai to become the new champions, the first time that either women have held the titles.

The match took place in the main event of Raw, with Bayley at ringside. Bayley would provide interference throughout, giving Damage CTRL the upper hand.

As Bayley continued to berate Lynch and Lita, the music of Trish Stratus would hit. The former Women’s Champion would run to the ringside area, taking out Bayley and evening the odds.

The ending of the match would see Stratus take out Bayley once again. Lynch would lock Kai in the Dis-arm-her as Lita hit a moonsault onto SKY to win the match and the championships.

Trish Stratus is regarded as one of the greatest Women’s WWE Superstars of all time, capturing the Women’s title 7 times in her Hall of Fame career.

Also on Raw, Brock Lesnar would accept the challenge to face Omos at WrestleMania.
