The next challenger for the Intercontinental Championship has been determined.

As seen on the February 10th edition of SmackDown, Madcap Moss won a Fatal 4 Way match to become the new number one contender for the title currently held by Gunther.

The match was seen in the main event of the show, which saw Moss defeat Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar and Karrion Kross in the 4 way match.

Moss hit a diving elbow onto Mysterio to win the match as Gunther watched on. This will be Madcap Moss’ first title match while in WWE.

The match will take place on February 17th, which is the SmackDown the day before the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. The line-up for the go-home show is as follows:

• Gunther (c) vs. Madcap Moss – Singles match for the Intercontinental Championship
• Sheamus and Drew McIntyre vs. The Viking Raiders
• Natalya and Shotzi vs. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler
• The final build to Elimination Chamber
