Multiple championship matches and a debut match from a former WWE star will be taking place on the February 1st edition of AEW Dynamite, which will be taking place in Dayton, Ohio.
Bryan Danielson continued his quest to take on MJF by defeating Brian Cage on the January 25th episode of Dynamite. With MJF still on a mission to take out Danielson, the AEW World Champion has enlisted the services of Timothy Thatcher, former NXT star, to take out The American Dragon.
Also following the Danielson vs. Cage match, MJF still attempted to take out the potential number one contender. Konosuke Takeshita came to the aid of Danielson after the match, which angered the duo of MJF and Cage. As a result, Brian Cage will face Takeshita on Dynamite.
Samoa Joe is still irate that Darby Allin defeated him and became the new TNT Champion. The title will be on the line again in a rematch, but will be contested under No Holds Barred rules.
