Rick Boogs returned to WWE for the first time since WrestleMania 38 during the January 30th edition of WWE Raw.

The Miz was in the ring not dressed to compete. Miz stated that he was annoyed that he was not in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match, and demanded to be treated with respect.

WWE Official Adam Pearce interrupted the rant, stating that an opponent for the A Lister has been found. Pearce would then introduce Boogs to the crowd in attendance.

Boogs would make easy work of The Miz, who was wrestling in a designer suit. The return also seems to signify the end of the previous alliance between Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura. Before the injury, Rick Boogs frequently served a s a hype man for Nakamura, playing guitar for the former Intercontinental Champion as he came to the ring.

Boogs was last seen teaming with Shinsuke Nakamura in the opening match of night 1 of WrestleMania, where Boogs and Nakamura would challenge The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Mid match, Boogs attempted to squat both of The Usos at the same time, but suffered a torn quad in the process.
