The fallout from the Royal Rumble will dominate the January 30th edition of Monday Night Raw, which will be airing live from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The road to WrestleMania officially begins on Raw, as new number one contenders have emerged for the top Men’s and Women’s Championships in WWE. In the opening match of the show, Cody Rhodes would return to the ring at the number 30 spot in the Men’s Royal Rumble, going on to win the iconic Battle Royale. Expect Rhodes to address the victory and the upcoming match with Roman Reigns on Raw.
Also at the Royal Rumble, Rhea Ripley would win the Women’s Rumble match later in the night, also guaranteeing a match at WrestleMania for a championship. However, with Bianca Belair holding the Raw Women’s Championship and Charlotte Flair holding the SmackDown Women’s Championship, Ripley has a choice to make. While also not officially announced, expect Ripley to reference or decide on the champion she will face at WrestleMania to be announced on the show.
No official matches or segments have been announced by WWE at the time of writing. It should be noted that Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and the entire Bloodline have not been advertised to appear on Raw. With the Royal Rumble ending with Sami Zayn turning on Roman Reigns and the subsequent brutal beatdown by The Bloodline, expect a recap of the events to be shown.
