The ratings for the January 20th editions of SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been published. On average, 2.257 million people watched SmackDown and 464,000 people watched Rampage. The viewing figures have been obtained via Wrestlenomics:

Smackdown was #2 in P18-49 for Friday, only behind the NBA on ESPN.

Rampage ranked #16 among cable originals, according to Showbuzz Daily. #31 including broadcast primetime.

Both shows have seen a drop in viewers compared to the previous week. The January 13th edition of SmackDown drew an average audience of 2.326 million, meaning that the drop calculates to approximately 3%. SmackDown obtained a key demo rating of 0.55, equal to January 13th.

The January 13th edition of Rampage drew an average audience of 513,000, meaning that the drop calculates to approximately 9.6%. Rampage obtained an 18-49 rating of 0.13, also equal to the key demo rating from January 13th.

SmackDown would see the first round matches take place in the Tag Team Title Tournament.
