The WWE status of Naomi has been reportedly updated.
In a report by Fightful Select, Naomi seemingly extended her deal at the time of the walkout. On top of this, the updated contract was said to be “the biggest money contract of her career” before the infamous incident took place.
Fightful sources back in autumn 2022 have stated that the former SmackDown Women’s Champion had maintained contact with WWE. The status of Naomi has been asked about once again due to the Roman Reigns Acknowledgement Ceremony due to take place on the January 23rd edition of Raw, featuring all members of The Bloodline.
In regards to Naomi appearing in WWE soon, one WWE source have stated that they are “confident” that a return will take place, but no timetable has been given regarding this.
Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Naomi and Sasha Banks have not been seen in WWE since they both walked out during an episode of Raw back in May.
While both have not been seen on WWE TV, multiple positive and negative references were made to the Superstars and the infamous incident that took place.
Despite a Naomi return being reportedly probable at this time, Sasha Banks will not. The Boss is now going by the name of Mercedes Mone, debuting for New Japan at Wrestle Kingdom 17.
