The January 13th edition of SmackDown will be broadcast live from the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. A championship match and a return to an old feud are amongst the highlights.

The Intercontinental Championship will be on the line on the show. Following multiple altercations between current champion Gunther and Braun Strowman, the title will be on the line on SmackDown.

Also on the show, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will face off once again. Following the announcement that Kevin Owens will face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble, Reigns has given the order for Zayn to defeat Owens. If The Honorary Uce is victorious, he will make amends for losing to John Cena and Kevin Owens on December 30th 2022.

• Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
