The ratings for the December 23rd episodes of SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been published. On average, 2.376 million people watched the pre-taped SmackDown and 566,000 people watched Rampage. The viewing figures have been obtained via Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics:
Both shows have seen a bump in ratings compared to the previous week. The December 16th episode of SmackDown drew an average audience of 2.191 million, meaning that the increase calculates to approximately 8.4%. As noted by Thurston, this is the highest total viewership for SmackDown since September 23rd. SmackDown obtained an 18-49 demographic rating of 0.55, also up from the 0.52 rating from December 16th.
As the December 16th episode of Rampage drew an average audience of 464,000, the increase calculates to 22%. Rampage obtained an 18-49 rating of 0.18, also up from the 0.15 rating from December 16th.
