Former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose has reportedly departed WWE.
As reported by Fightful Select, WWE had no choice but to make the decision due to explicit content on Rose’s FanTime page. The content was deemed to be outside of the parameters of Rose’s contract with the company.
Mandy Rose was last seen on the December 13th edition of NXT, losing the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez. Those internally have described the title change as “abrupt.”
Mandy Rose was first seen on WWE programming as a contestant in the 2015 Series of Tough Enough, placing second overall in the competition. Following a brief stint in NXT, Rose would make her debut on the main roster with Sonya Deville as part of the Absolution faction, led by Paige making her return to WWE in 2017.
In 2020, Rose would be involved in a romance storyline involving Otis that saw the pair become a couple after WrestleMania 36. In 2021, Rose would return to NXT and align with Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolan to form Toxic Attraction. At one point in NXT, the faction would hold all of the brand’s women’s titles.
