The AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament has now concluded, with Ricky Starks emerging as the winner
The final match of the tournament would see Ethan Page face Ricky Starks on the November 23rd edition of AEW Dynamite. Starks would come to the ring heavily taped up due to the war he had gone through to get to the final. While Ethan page had time to rest, Starks would face Lance Archer on the November 18th episode of Rampage and then Brian Cage 24 hours later on the Full gear pre-show.
Ethan Page would target the midsection of Starks throughout the match, while also taking time to showboat. Starks would go for a dive to the outside as Page was at the ringside area, Stokely Hathaway would pull Ethan Page out of the line of fire. This would result in the referee ejecting Hathaway from the ringside area. The match would end when Starks would hit 3 spears onto Page to win the match and the tournament
As a result of the victory, Starks will be facing new AEW World Champion MJF at the Winter is Coming special edition episode of AEW Dynamite, which will be taking place on Wednesday December 14th. It is most likely that this will be MJF’s first defence of the title.
