WWE will be bringing the WarGames stipulation to the main roster for the first time at Survivor Series 2022, which will be airing live at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The show will also see 2 championship matches take place.
Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Shotzi – Singles match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship:
While Shotzi may get one or two hope spots in, this will be a strong performance by Rousey. Shayna Baszler may factor into the finish, but Rousey will be retaining the championship at Survivor Series.
Winner – Ronda Rousey
Finn Balor vs. AJ Styles:
While this is being billed as a one-on-one match, members from both factions will get involved. This will most likely be the best non-WarGames match taking place on the show. As The Judgment Day lost on the go-home edition of Raw, the group will look strong with this match and the Women’s WarGames match, meaning that Balor will be victorious.
Winner: Finn Balor
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Austin Theory – Triple Threat match for the United States Championship
Seth Rollins is being promoted as a fighting champion, being the one who in storyline pitched for the match to take place. However, this could be Rollins’ downfall with 2 strong challengers going for the title. Austin Theory has been given a new and more vicious edge on recent episodes of Raw, which will culminate with Theory winning back the championship. As the match is a Triple Threat match, the no-disqualification factor will come into play on multiple occasions.
Winner: Austin Theory
Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Mia Yim and 1 more TBA vs. Bayley, IYO SKY, Dakota Kai, Rhea Ripley and Nikki Cross – Women’s WarGames
This match will be noteworthy for the mystery partner as well as the result. This match will most likely serve as determining the next challenger for Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship, meaning that Belair will take the pin. Most likely, the push of Rhea Ripley will continue, with Ripley pinning Belair to pick up the victory and become the new number one contender for the title.
Winners: Team Bayley
The Bloodline [Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn] vs. Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Butch, Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens – Men’s WarGames match
While the Bloodline hold the majority of the gold in WWE, cracks have been starting to show in the group. The tension between Sami Zayn and Jey Uso could possibly be the downfall of the group, with Team Brutes looking like a more cohesive unit. As no championships are on the line, The Bloodline can afford to take a pinfall loss at the event. While unlikely, the winning pin could be on Reigns to set up a challenger for the title between Survivor Series and the 2023 Royal Rumble.
Winners: Team Brutes
