United States Champion Seth Rollins will defend the United States Championship at Survivor Series in a Triple Threat match against both Austin Theory and Bobby Lashley.
Rollins appeared in a backstage interview segment on the November 21st episode of WWE Raw. Rollin revealed that he was the one who asked for this match, as he has issues with both men. The champion would then say that he can survive a wild Bobby Lashley and that Austin Theory could now be more dangerous than ever. Ultimately, Rollins predicted that he would be the one to walk out of Survivor Series with the title.
Both men have issues with Seth Rollins holding the United States Championship. Bobby Lashley was the one who Seth Rollins defeated to capture the title, with the victory coming in part to a surprise attack on Lashley by Brock Lesnar. Austin Theory chose to cash-in his Money in the Bank contract on Seth Rollins for a match for the US Title, but was unsuccessful in being victorious.
The updated line-up for Survivor Series is as follows:
- AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor
- Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Shotzi – Singles match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship
- Alexa Bliss, Bianca Belair, Asuka, Mia Yim and one more TBA vs. Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley – Women’s War Games match
