All of the first round matches in the SmackDown World Cup have been completed, with the semi-finals now set.

Ricochet would go on to win the match with a Shooting Star Press, and will face Brawn Strowman in the semi-finals.
Later in the show, Butch would defeat Sami Zayn in the final first round match of the inaugural tournament. Butch would use The Bitter End to defeat the honorary Uce. Butch will face Santos Escobar in the semi-finals.
The other semi-finalists, Braun Strowman and Santos Escobar, would defeat Jinder Mahal and Santos Escobar respectively in their first round matches on the November 11th episode of SmackDown.
The winner of the SmackDown World Cup will receive a trophy and an opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship, which is currently held by Gunther.
