Kevin Owens made his return to WWE on the October 18th edition of SmackDown, siding with The Brawling Brutes and Drew McIntyre. Owens was also revealed as the 5th member of Team Brutes in the WarGames match that will take place at Survivor Series on November 26th.

Much like the ending of the November 11th SmackDown, the November 18th edition would see The Usos, Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa brawl with Sheamus, Butch, Rudge Holland and Drew McIntyre. Roman Reigns would then make his way to the ring and take down all 4 members of Team Brutes, which then prompted the music of Kevin Owen’s to play.

Owens would make his way to the ring, taking out Jimmy and Jey Uso on his way to confront Reigns. The former Universal Champion delivered multiple stomps and a stunner to the current Universal Champion to stand tall as SmackDown went off the air.

The identity of the mystery 5th man remained a mystery throughout the night, with The Brutes opening SmackDown as a 4 man team. It looked like the 5th man would be revealed at the start of the show, but was in fact interrupted by Sami Zayn. The Bloodline tried to discover who the 5th man was throughout the night, but were unsuccessful until Owen’s was revealed at the end of the show.
