Emma has returned to WWE, making a shock return on the October 28th edition of SmackDown.
SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey would host an open challenge to defend the title on October 28th, which was answered by a returning Emma, much to to the surprise of fans and announcers.
Emma would put in a competitive performance against Rousey, but would ultimately lost via submission, allowing Rousey to retain the Championship.
Emma was the first Australian born wrestler to compete in WWE, first wrestling in FCW in 2012, which was rebranded as NXT. Emma’s most notable moment in NXT was making it to the final of the tournamnet to crown the first ever NXT Women’s Champion, which was won by Paige. Emma was then moved to the main roster in 2014, then briefly returning to NXT before going back to the main roster in 2016, where she would remain until April 2017, where it was announced that Emma had been released by WWE.
Following the release, Emma would go by her real name of Tenille Dashwood, establishing herself in Ring of Honor and IMPACT Wrestling.
