The October 28th edition of AEW Rampage will be broadcast live from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. and will see a championship defended and a World title Eliminator match take place.

Originally, a tag team match between The Jericho Appreciation Society and The Blackpool Combat Club was due to take place. however, Wheeler Yuta of the BCC has been double booked, and was originally due to wrestle for New Japan Pro Wrestling. Yuta will be honouring his NJPW booking, not taking part in the Rampage match. Instead, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will be in action against Matt Menard. If Menard is victorious, he will earn a future world title match.

The TNT Championship will also be on the line on Rampage, as title holder Wardlow puts the title on the line against Matt Taven.

The following matches have been announced for AEW Rampage:

• Wardlow (c) vs. Matt Taven – Singles match for the TNT Championship
• Jon Moxley vs. Matt Menard – AEW World title eliminator
• Tay Melo vs. Madison Rayne
