Two new matches were announced for the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, which include a Steel Cage and a clash between the 2 biggest WWE Superstars on the current roster.
The first match announced will see Drew McIntyre face Karrion Kross inside of a Steel Cage. Scarlett would cost McIntyre the victory in the Strap match at Extreme Rules, giving the victory to Kross. On the October 14th SmackDown, Kross was attacked by Drew McIntire in the parking lot before the show went officially on the air. It has been announced that the two superstars will settle their rivalry at Crown Jewel inside a Steel Cage, preventing any outside interference.
The second match to be announced will see a clash of giants as Omos takes on Braun Strowman. The Nigerian Giant has been paying close attention to the monster of all monsters in recent weeks, frequently being seen when Strowman has been taking part in matches. MVP would approach Strowman on the October 21st SmackDown, challenging Strowman to a match with Omos at Crown Jewel, which Strowman accepted. Omos would then come down to the ring and throw Strowman out of the ring with ease.
The updated line-up for Crown Jewel is as follows:
- Roman Reigns (c) vs. Logan Paul – Singles match for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.
- Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar
- AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows vs. Finn Balor, Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio
- Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross – Steel Cage match
- Omos vs. Braun Strowman
