Main Event Set For AEW Full Gear 2022

The main event for the Full Gear 2022 pay-per-view was revealed on the October 18th edition of AEW Dynamite, which will see Jon Moxley defend the AEW World Championship against MJF.

Moxley would defend the title against “Hangman” Adam Page on the Tuesday night Dynamite, which took place in Mox’s hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. The match was unfortunately cut short, with Page being stretchered out of the ring following a lariat by Moxley. In an update on AEW’s social media, it was announced that former champion Page suffered a concussion. Page has been since discharged from the Cincinnati trauma center.

Following the match, Moxley would call out MJF, who came to the ring dragging a referee and poker chip in hand, which entitles MJF to a title match whenever he chooses. MJF stated that he wanted to earn the championship, officially announcing the cash-in at AEW Full Gear.

At the time of writing, this is the only match has been announced for the Full Gear pay-per-view. AEW Full gear will be taking place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday November 19th.
