The October 14th edition of SmackDown will be broadcast live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA. The show is being heavily marketed around the return of Bray Wyatt.

Bray Wyatt made a shocking return to the WWE at the Extreme Rules Premium Live Event. Wyatt will be explaining the reason behind the return and will address his future intentions on SmackDown.

LA Knight will be having his debut match on SmackDown. Knight originally came to SmackDown as Max Dupri, but has made the decision to return to his original NXT name of LA Knight. Knight will be facing his former Maximum Male Model client Mån.sôör on SmackDown.

On the October 7th SmackDown, Sami Zayn challenged The New Day to find a mystery partner to face him and The Usos. The surprise partner was revealed to be Braun Strowman, who was pivotal in obtaining the victory for the team. Zayn will be looking for retribution as he takes on Kofi Kingston on SmackDown.
