WWE Tough Enough Winner Sara Lee Passes Away Aged 30

Sara Lee, who won the 2015 season of Tough Enough, has passed away aged just 30 years old.

The news was originally broken by Sara Lee’s mother on Facebook, who posted the following regarding the tragic news:

“It is with heavy hearts we wanted to share that our Sara Weston has gone to be with Jesus. We are all in shock and arrangements are not complete. We ask that you respectfully let our family mourn. We all need prayers especially Cory and her children.”

As previously mentioned, Sara Lee was the co-winner of Tough Enough with Josh Bredl. Lee would win a $250,000 contract with the company, but would be released from WWE in 2016. Lee would go on to marry Cory Weston [known as Wesley Blake in WWE] in 2017. The couple had 2 children together.

WWE have acknowledged the tragic news, posting the following on their website:

WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of Sara Lee.

Born and raised in Hope Township, Michigan, Lee excelled in powerlifting before eventually joining the sixth season of WWE’s “Tough Enough.” Lee went on to win the fan vote for “Tough Enough” and serve as an inspiration to many in the sports-entertainment world. 

WWE offers its heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and fans.
