The ratings for the September 30th editions of WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been published. On average, 2.207 million people watched SmackDown and 472,000 people watched Rampage. The numbers have been obtained via Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:
Compared to the previous week, both shows have seen a drop in viewers. As the September 23rd episode of SmackDown drew a record average audience of 2.535 million, the drop calculates to approximately 13%. SmackDown obtained a key demographic rating of 0.54, also down from the 0.63 rating from September 23rd.
The September 23rd edition of Rampage drew an average audience of 522,000, meaning that the drop calculates to approximately 10%. Rampage obtained a key demographic rating of 0.16, down from the 0.17 rating from September 23rd.
SmackDown continued the build to Extreme Rules while Rampage aw The Acclaimed successfully retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
