WWE have announced on social media a 6th match due to take place at the Extreme Rules Premium Live Event.

As announced on Thursday September 29th, The Brawling Brutes and Imperium will collide in a Donnybrook match on Saturday October 8th.

Imperium and The Brawling Brutes have been at odds for a number of weeks. The rivalry first escalated when Sheamus failed to defeat Gunther to capture the Intercontinental Championship at Clash at the Castle in a critically acclaimed match. Imperium would then provide a distraction in a match that featured Ridge Holland and Butch going after the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. The distraction caused The Brutes to lose the match to the champions The Usos.

At the time of writing, there has only been one Donnybrook match to take place in WWE, which saw Drew McIntyre defeat Sheamus.

The updated card for Extreme Rules is as follows:

• Seth Rollins vs. Matt Riddle – Fight Pit match.
• Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey – Extreme Rules match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
• Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross – Strap match.
• Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley – Ladder match for the Raw Women’s Championship.
• Edge vs. Finn Balor – “I Quit” match
• The Brawling Brutes vs. Imperium – Six-Man Donnybrook match
