NXT Champion Bron Breakker will be defending the NXT Championship against both Ilja Dragunov and JD McDonagh at Halloween Havoc.

Dragunov opened the September 27th NXT, stating that once again he will beat an unbeatable machine to claim gold, with his target being Bron Breakker. McDonagh would interrupt, stating that now is now Dragunov’s time, but his. Breakker would then make his way to the ring, stating that the NXT Championship is not going anywhere.

McDonagh would then suggest that Dragunov and Breakker fight each other, and then he would take his shot. Breakker countered with saying that there would be a 33.3% chance of winning, with a Triple Threat match then announced for the championship.

The updated line-up for Halloween Havoc, which will be taking place on Saturday October 22nd, is as follows:

• Bron Breakker (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov vs. JD McDonagh – Triple Threat match for the NXT Championship.
• Carmelo Hayes vs. Oro Mensah vs. Wes Lee vs. 3 TBD – Ladder match for the North American Championship.
