The first challenger for Jon Moxley’s third reign as AEW World Champion has been determined.

A Battle Royale took place at AEW Rampage: Grand Slam on September 23rd, where the winner would face Jon Moxley on the October 18th episode of Dynamite, which is a Tuesday.

The match featured multiple big names in AEW and some surprise returns, with notable participants being Jake Hager, Danhausen, Brian Cage, Penta, Rush, Jay Lethal, Lance Archer and former AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page.

The final two entrants in the match would be “Hangman” Adam Page and Rush. Both men would fight on the apron, with Page hitting a Dead Eye onto Rush onto the apron, which eliminated Rush and gave Page the opportunity to become a 2 time AEW World Champion.

The October 18th Dynamite will also be taking place in Cincinnati, Ohio, which is the hometown of Jon Moxley.
