Saraya shockingly made her All Elite Wrestling debut at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.
Saraya made her debut after Toni Storm retained the Interim AEW Women’s Championship in a 4 Way match against Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D, Athena and Serena Deeb. After the match, a bloodied Baker would attack Storm. Jamie Hayter would come to the ring, siding with Baker to continue attacking the champion. As Baker put on the glove to apply the lockjaw, unfamiliar music rang out through Arthur Ashe Stadium.
After a few seconds, the big screen revealed the name of Saraya, and the new AEW signee came out to the entrance ramp to a massive ovation from the New York crowd. The heels quickly exited the ring as Sarya entered and the applause continued.
The signing was also confirmed on social media, with the All Elite graphic being used by AEW president Tony Khan.
The star formerly known as Paige in WWE became a free agent in June after a lengthy career with the company. Paige’s career has been well documented, with her career being adapted to the big screen in the film Fighting With My Family.
