The Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos will be defending the titles against Ridge Holland and Butch of The Brawling Brutes on the September 23rd edition of SmackDown.

On the September 16th episode of SmackDown, a Fatal 4 Way match took place to determine the next challengers for The Usos. The teams competing in the match were Butch and Ridge Holland, Imperium, Hit Row and The New Day. The match would end when Imperium would hit the Imperial Bomb onto Kofi Kingston, but Ridge Holland would bling tag himself into the match. Holland would quickly cover Kingston to win the match for his team.

Also announced to take place on the September 23rd episode of SmackDown will be the return of Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief will be appearing live in front of the WWE Universe, and will be expected to respond to any news that will be coming out of the September 17th press conference.

Braun Strowman will be returning to the ring for the first time since making the surprise return to WWE. After multiple altercations with the Alpha Academy, Strowman will be taking on Otis on SmackDown.
