The logo for NXT has been changed on what was the anniversary show of NXT 2.0.
The end of the September 13th broadcast would see a video played voiced over by WWE hall of famer Shawn Michaels. The Heartbreak Kid stated that NXT always has been and always will be about creating the superstars of tomorrow. Michaels would then go on to say that while superstars develop and move on, the message to the fans will never change, we are NXT.
As the video came to a close, the colourful NXT 2.0 image came up on the screen, with the logo transforming into silver lettering with gold outlines and dropping the 2.0 from the logo.
The new logo is reminiscent of the old black and gold logo, which many regard as the greatest era for the NXT brand. The 2.0 logo was originally revealed on the August 27th SmackDown, with the newly formatted show airing in September 2021.
