WWE SmackDown & AEW Rampage Ratings 9/9/22

The ratings for the September 9th episodes of WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been published. On average, 2.367 million people watched SmackDown and 429,000 people watched Rampage. The figures have been obtained via Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics:

Compared to the previous week, SmackDown has seen an increase in viewers while Rampage has seen a decrease. As the September 2nd episode of SmackDown drew an average audience of 2.077 million, the increase calculates to approximately 14%. As noted by Thurston, this is the highest total viewership for SmackDown since June 17th. SmackDown obtained a key demographic rating of 0.57, also up from the 0.49 rating from September 2nd and the highest since July 22.d

The September 2nd episode of AEW Rampage drew an average audience of 485,000, a decrease of approximately 11.5%. Rampage obtained a key demographic rating of 0.14, also down from the 0.16 rating from September 2nd.

SmackDown began the build to the Extreme Rules by announcing the first match due to take place at the Premium Live Event. Rampage continued their Tournament of Champions with the second competitor advancing.
