The ratings for the September 2nd episodes of SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been published. On average, 2.077 million people watched SmackDown and 485,000 people watched Rampage. The numbers have been obtained via Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:
Both shows have seen an increase in viewership compared to the previous week. As the August 26th SmackDown drew an average audience of 1.990 million, the increase calculates to approximately 4.4%. SmackDown obtained a key demographic rating of 0.49, also up from the 0.48 rating from August 26th.
The August 26th edition of AEW Rampage drew an average audience of 431,000, meaning that the increase calculates to approximately 12.5%. Rampage obtained a key demographic rating of 0.16, also up from the 0.11 rating from August 26th.
Both shows were the go-home shows for their respective pay-per-views, with SmackDown presenting the final build to Clash at the Castle and Rampage presenting the final build to All Out.
